For the last ten days or so, I have been unable to access Chross' Blog, which is one of my favourite sites.
I notice that back in December, JohnS47 had a similar problem. I simply get "Internet Explorer is unable to access the website" (or words to that effect!). Have tried bouncing from other sites but t'would appear that my ISP address is not liked!
Anyone else having the same problems? It seems that it sorts itself out after a while but it's somewhat frustrating reading, on the Google menu "on Chross Blog two days ago..." and being totally unable to actually see it!!
Rant over, many thanks for all the thoroughly enjoyable reads on here, one day I will contribute, honest!

That sounds like it might be a DNS problem. You could try using OpenDNS for your DNS servers:

http://www.opendns.com/ (ip addesses: 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220)

and an alternative web browser such as Firefox, Chrome, Safari etc and see if that fixes things.

You might try searching for it on Google or Bing and then seeing if you can access it from the search page. If so, delete your bookmark or whatever for Chross blogspot and use the new address (from the search page).
Worked for me on another site that was unavailable ("Internet Explorer cannot open this page...").

There's a website I visit at times like that: http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/
You can also reach it at: http://www.isup.me/

And the link http://chross.blogt.ch/ works for me.

I don't believe it! (Heard that before somewhere?!)
Despite already running late, decided to try Chross once more on Google and, lo and behold, there it was, as if nothing had happened. No explanantion, no apology but home safely at least! Grrrrr.
Many and sincere thanks anyway for above assistance, shall bear those in mind for future likely use.
