Goodgulf, I think you've handled this well. Your feelings may have come out at the funeral. It's unfortunate that this person's behaviour left him with few genuine friends when he passed. I had a run in with a bully at high school, he like most bullies targeted kids he felt couldn't fight back. We had mutual friends and when they found out they asked him why he'd picked on me and why not one of them, two of them were pretty tough kids, he backed down and was shown up as a coward. I don't think he stopped picking on other kids, but he lost a lot of standing over that and never hassled me again.
