Please allow to put it in simple terms that hopefully all can understand...

HOT = HOT

Having had no experience of being spanked or applying spanking in a sexual context I cannot really add anything much of note to the evidence. However if I may be allowed to add my six pennyworth I would observe that there are so many authors offering stories that are based on the notion that spanking does heighten sexual experience that there must be some validity there. Similarly certain writers to the Library whom I respect have assured me that spanking does 'work.' I can only wish that I had possessed the means to conduct my own investigation.

In answer to the original question, all I can say is that spanking (and similar) certainly does get one in the mood. Whether it leads to more success is another matter - timing is important. I'd echo an earlier response: a hot bottom against my hips during sex? Yes please!
