8 million Frenchwomen can't be wrong

Alef seems to be assuming all the said partners are (a) French and (b) male. I'd also like to know how many of these women had been spanked by people not their partners. But a threefold increase is impressive. Why, in some countries that would mean at least 150% had been so spanked.
