...or TTWDD ( This Thing We Don't Do) which is the variant for those of us who'd like to indulge but for one reason or another are not able to.

For brevity I just refer to it as TTIWHLTDITWNTWTA (The Thing I Would Have Liked To Do If Things WereN't The Way They Are). Saves a lot of time in conversations.

I can see even now and worse in a decade or so, one will have learned a completely new language on the net, and sadly the somewhat formal conversations will have gone the way of the dodo bird.
