I found a file from years ago that somehow has survived at least 4 computer upgrades...

Spanking mentions from yesteryear:
Nov 17, 1951 Dorothy Dix
Dec 1, 1951 Dorothy Dix
June 12, 1952 Little Iodine
Sept 5, 1952 Dorothy Dix

Dec 16, 1951 announced the death of Mrs Elizabeth Meriwether Gilmer (a.k.a. Dorothy Dix). The announcement said that they would publish the last of her columns over the next few weeks and that they have already replaced her. The new woman introduced herself and gave her views - which less prospanking.

Note that the days might be slightly different depending on which newspaper is checked, but the column was syndicated so the dates should be more or less accurate.

True, but there's nothing illegal with looking up old newspapers where as if you do that with skirts...

Do you mean to imply that the authorities don't appreciate the value of thorough research? hmph!

They don't - if the subjects are unwilling. But if the subject likes the idea of a skirt look up then that's good as well.
