Many years ago there was this paperback book titled FLAILING OF LAUREL. I forget the author, but wonder if anyone remembers the book. I thought it was a unique book as it did seem to have charactors and places that made it seem like it was written with my subdivision in Virginia in mind as many of the charactors did seem to be named like the streets and city in which i lived i.e. LAUREL STREET, VIRGINIA FAIRFAX, LENORE LENNOX, etc. I have not lived there for years, but i always remember wondering if there are other books that people have read where they felt it was written about their neighborhood or someplace you were familiar with. Thank you
Jim

"The Flailing of Laurel" was written by James McKenzie and was the 22nd publication in the Bizarre Book series from Eros Goldstripe.

Back in 1972 it would have cost you $2.25, but if you want a copy today, you can get one at this site for $65.
