Most of us here in the US simply DON'T care, so we have no need for such a word as 'carer.'

Titles can be confusing at times. I've seen confusion over the word "fishers" as opposed to the word "fishermen".

I've never seen 'fishers', but I have seen quite a few times 'anglers.'

I've never seen 'fishers',

I went to Sunday School far too many times as a child not to recognize the word, as in

"And He said to them, 'Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.'"
- Matthew 4:19

Of course there is also the small, North American carnivore called the fisher, a relative of the wolverine.

And let us not forget Fisher-Price, maker of children's toys.

um... what was the question again?
