Reminds me of a story I saw posted overy at the HappyTails forum. A husband asked his wife to put on his pants. When she told him they didn't fit, he said"now you know who wears the pants in this house." She asks him to put on a a pair of her panties. When he is not able to get them on, she tells him" as long as you think you wear the pants in this house, you can't get into my panties." LOL "Wears the pants in the family." An old and now rather outdated expression, I suppose. Common expression was when the wife seemed to run things at home was that "she wears the pants", with implied disapproval. In today's climate of greater gender equality, that attitude is indeed and rightfully archic. On the other hand, love a story where a woman "who wears the pants in the family" in the sense that she is shrewish and disrespectful of her husband's rights and feelings, gets the tables turns when her fed-up husband decides to warm the seat of her pants, or takes them down and spanks her. |
