50 Shades

If the fundamentalist or Evangelicals, far right, win the US presidency, congress and many state positions, you don't have to worry about children reading porn, they will be after adults, as well. So we can forget about the 50 shades of anything. They will consider any erotic material as immoral and pornographic. Anything they don't like is immoral. Remember, these are the same people that brutally beat their children and are very firm believers in capital punishment.

I'm sure my children know more about this stuff than I do. Hiding the kindle is not meant for hiding spanking books, but the fact that I'm reading them.

I asked the wife to download the trilogy to her Kindle but she refused. However, considering the fact that she gets the vapours following a paper cut, I suppose being nipple clamped,but plugged and spanked may be a bit too much for her.

Totally agree - this trilogy is essentially Harlequin (UK - Mills & Boon) romance with a little light topcoat of spanking, and from the point of view of decadent spankos like us it's hopelessly tame stuff. But what matters, I reckon, is that it's encouraging thousands of people (mainly women, by all accounts) to explore the spanking scene for the first time in their lives and find out just how sexy it can be. Can't be bad, right?

It reminds me of the old saying, "If you want to promote anything any publicity is good publicity."
