Totally agree - this trilogy is essentially Harlequin (UK - Mills & Boon) romance with a little light topcoat of spanking, and from the point of view of decadent spankos like us it's hopelessly tame stuff. But what matters, I reckon, is that it's encouraging thousands of people (mainly women, by all accounts) to explore the spanking scene for the first time in their lives and find out just how sexy it can be. Can't be bad, right?
