Kindle: Do help me PLEASE!

My sister sent me "fifty shades of grey", a Mobi file, so it should be easy to send to my kindle.
BUT I can't understand their too many instructions, so could anyone please tell me how to do it clearly and quickly?
I want to read it on my kindle, not on the PC!

My experience is that you just plug the Kindle to a computer. The computer recognizes it as a USB device and you just drag and drop the mobi file right onto it. It also recognizes txt and pdf files.

When u have your kindle on wireless internet connection it automatically syncs to your account (and to other Kindle devices owned by you provided they are also connected to the wireless internet at the same time. You may find your latest book in the 'Archive' list, in which case select it and it will download to your library .

I have a Kindle app on my ipad and android phone and so long as they are both simultaneously connected to the wireless internet, they will sync together so that both devices display the current page read to and the latest downloads . Also when on wireless they sync to your Amazon account so any new items bought from the site will be transferred. Hope this helps

Just a note: the porn is generally better (better characters, plots, descriptions, narrative, etc) than in the 50 Shades of Grey book.
