Help needed

This time of year, I use a lovely crocheted Afghan made by the hub's favorite aunt before she died. I slept under a duvet when I was an overnight guest in a friend's house and lost my enthusiasm when I tried to make the bed in the morning! the whole thing was balled in one corner- wild nights! I guess.

There won't be a duvet's in this Guy's household.

Here in the US of A, almost all hotels seem to use duvets now. (I suspect it has something to do with bedbug prevention) My complaint is that they are an all-or-nothing bed cover, and the combination of blanket and duvet is always too heavy.

Even after all these years, the wife and I still like each other, so we like to cuddle in bed. Therefore we prefer a cool bedroom with (often) a single light blanket.

Add the energy management systems that most hotels have now that dial back the air conditioning at night, and you have a recipe for a hot, sweaty, miserable night.
