Yes, Ollie, I often think about that, particularly in connection with the man who fell asleep at the wheel and caused a terrible train crash. He was treated as more or less "evil" and imprisoned, while I know of a local woman who injured herself badly after falling asleep at the wheel and everyone has enormous sympathy for her, yet there's really no difference between them except luck. There's still a strong element of revenge, or "an eye for an eye" in the law, I think
