Fined for admiring "a very nice backside."

This newspaper story tells how a man was fined £60 for admiring a good looking female while driving:

He can hardly be blamed for his action. It's almost an automatic reaction from any red-blooded man when a good looking female comes towards him to turn his head and check out how she looks from behind. Similarly when we see a well-rounded bottom we are curious to know if the shapely lass has got a pretty face as well as a spankable bum. I suspect that many people will think that this guy should have kept his eyes on the road but I do have some sympathy with him.

Having read the article, I think the police were probably right. He was looking backwards through his rear window while driving forwards. What did he think the well-named rear view mirror was for?

Better yet, he could have stopped his car, waited for her (she was walking in his direction, not the opposite), chatted her up - he may have ended up with her phone number rather than a fine.

If I lived in that town I'd be as well renting a room in court.

Oh boy, I see a "ripped from the headlines" Law and Order type TV show in the making. Or, more likely, a future LSF submission, with spankings in store for the clueless perpetrator, the overzealous police officers, and the sweet-bottomed woman, who it turns out (in my version, anyway) sashays down the street all day long hoping to attract attention from unsuspecting men. I was thinking she might even be an undercover police officer, meant to lure potential bottom watchers into doing something illegal. But that might be entrapment, the penalty for which is, of course, a spanking.

Maybe this should be the NEXT story challenge.

Jools is right smeple, go for it. If you identified the actors taking part in the show, that would be really hot.

Doug has my sympathy. Those are some pretty strong biological imperatives he's being asked to ignore. As for the police in this matter, c'mon guys, can't you let the bloke off with a warning just this once? He didn't even crash into anything!

It just proves that British police are just as stupid as American ones.
