Is chat room not in use?

And don't mention Chelsea if you chat with me - lucky sods.

Funny, I thought exactly the same when I read Jimisim's post.

Hotspur, Have you managed to sell your Lederhosen on E-Bay? Almost brand new, one careful wearing. Some tear stains.

(For non-initiates people like Hotspur and I found ourselves supporting Chelsea's opponents on Saturday. It was for good selfish reasons, not schadenfreude, we just needed Chelsea to lose. Well done CFC, anyway.)

Maybe we could attract some CHATers if a date and time were announced ahead of time. Something along the lines of "At 7 PM (Eastern Time U.S. or Mid-night or...) on the 29Th of May there will be an organized CHAT. So you guys and gals show up and we will talk about what comes up.

The chat room IS used. The last fortnight I have had conversations with three men and a woman. Two of them were authors. I looks often if someone is there and is sometimes there alone when I am doing other things around the PC but can see if I got company.

I used the chatroom myself last. The result is the lyrics for a song that will soon be loaded here at the Library. So chat can be an inspirational experience. (thank you opb and rachael)

Alex Birch used to do a similar thing on Sunday evenings, but time differences make trans-Atlantic chats quite difficult.

I used the chat room for a while and am grateful for this reminder to use it again. It was fun, but it takes a long time to load and that's put me off sometimes when I didn't have a lot of time.
