Anyone else think J.K Rowling is a spanko?

Whilst we are suggesting authors who hint at their spanking predilections in their works, may I suggest Diana Gabaldon? Initially in her Outlander saga the references were entirely within the punishment context, but they increase as the saga goes on till I for one, am convinced that she would fit nicely within these walls

How about Jude Deveraux? Her historical novels had spanking, and her contemporary work had scenes which cried out for spanking, though they never materialised.

Wilbur Smith referenced it in a few of his books. A Sparrow Falls had one of the best described spankings, a father to his grown daughter that I've read in a mainstream novel.

If you read the biography of J.K. Rowling, she was at a mixed secondary school in Gloucestershire when the headmaster REINTRODUCED corporal punishment. We don't know whether this applied to both girls and boys, or whether Ms Rowling was ever a recipient but there's plenty of spanko stuff in those thousands of pages of the Harry Potter series - I was particularly struck by how Harry Potter thought that when Professor McGonagall was asking for "Wood" she was going to fetch a cane rather than the Quidditch captain - this was quite gratuitous!
