World Spanking Party 2012

Where can I vote for this World Spanking Party, and does it rule anywhere?

Is Herr General Spankings so poorly thought of in religious circles?

Not so long ago, CP in Britain meant the Communist Party. Aha! At last a smear that would really annoy the Republican right - they're closet Commuinists!

Not so! Those extreme right wing folks will claim to your face to be strict adherents to our Constitution. They will even quote a few well-chosen phrases to prove it to you.

Out of the other side of their mouths, they threaten a new revolution to seize power for themselves and for other true believers; and they don't even see the irony!


In my youth, in an evangelical Christian church, spanking was eloquently preached from the pulpit. I even remember the pastor including spanking (and belt-whipping) stories from his own life to illustrate how great an idea it was.

One of our highest ranked bishops of the catholic church also thought CP is a great idea and consequently spanked several children with canes or carpet beater during the 70th and 80th in an orphanage. Two years ago some of this former children informed the media and now the bishop is not longer a bishop and doesn't think any more, that this was one of his best ideas (at least I hope so). Furthermore nearly 25 % of all members of the catholic church thought about leaving the church and thousands actually did it. For several months the newspapers were filled with articles about violance and abuse of catholic priests and read more like the Janus magazine than like a normal newspaper.

But the world's pain party sounds like fun. Maybe I should send the link to the emeritus bishop? He should have time by now to participate.

Excellent idea, Mati - especially since so many women seem to like the idea of being spanked by a priest. Maybe he could set up a confessional box in one corner....

There have been many a story of CP in catholic schools as well as evangelical fundamentalists' schools. They love the idea. But, they won't go for the idea of reading and writing about it.
