You don't have to live in US to see the show. I have seen all 152 episodes twice in Sweden and I love the series. It is no spanking in it but it ought to be. Besides what CarolinaPaddler and jimc have written, Rory ought to be spanked in more episodes.

I agree with jimc about the rock concert, it is a very good spanking opportunity. Madeline and Louise had run away to go to a party with college-boys. yes i agree that there were indeed times where mother and daughter should have been spanked, I was one that always wanted Lorelai to get spanked although i do now have to say after seeing all these about Rory that i had forgotten about she probally did need a lot more. (sleeping with dean and blaming Lorelat, stealing the boat and saying it was Lorelai's fault that she could not talk to her mother about her decisions as she would not understand and then use the grandparents as she did.) I love that show and all the quirky characters, I agree with you Jim, they all have spankable qualities. I think that a ceremonial spanking would be much too disruptive to the subtle edges of the show- ultimately, these characters do pay for their bad behavior with natural consequences.

Luke loses his nephew, Jess; Jess' inflexible behavior deprives him of Rory. Lorelei and Emily deserve each other, because neither will see or even make an attempt to consider the other's point of view. It is funny because of the brilliant banter, but sad because it so flawed like all we humans.
