You know, I've always read the term when it's used in a book I've been enjoying. I always thought to myself that it sounded like an incredibly stupid word. I've used it in my own writing without every really having seen an actual example of it. But, finally, I was using google to search for something, I misremember what exactly, and I came across a video of a Conan O'Brien video. I never really watched Conan O'Brien, and still don't, but I have to admit that the man had something useful to teach me.
