I have enjoyed chatting to similarly minded people in spanking chat rooms and I would say most of the chat was general chat, and not about Topic No. 1. Perhaps I was just lucky and didn't see any trolls (or billy goats).
I have learned quite a bit about the places other folk live in the world as a result.
Having said that, I can't remember the last time I went into a chat room and found another person there. For several months I kept looking in to Classics and then to BL without seeing anyone. With my pessimist's hat on I expect that would be the fate of a library chat room in time, and The Exalted Februs would have wasted his time.
As others have said there are other places and ways to chat. This is a library after all, and if we did start chatting no doubt the shhh we would hear would be the swish of Miss TB's cane. |
