CK, we are not all royalist's here either! Of course the class system is alive and well but are you really any better off in the US? We have a lot less guns thank goodness! We don't yet have a bible belt! A redneck is what you get when you sit in the sun too long! I am sure their are advantages to living in both countries but I like it here in this sceptred isle. I can't wait until the new football season starts! I mean, imagine having to watch baseball !!!?

Well just replace the tea then!
There's nothing I like better on 4th July than to sit with a glass of whisky & some chocolate, whilst listening to a golden oldie - Alex Harvey singing The Boston Tea Party

Well personally I'm not too fussed about what happened in 1773 but I would like to say it's a pitiful state of affairs when I have to drag myself out of the library basement/dungeon in order to make myself a cup of tea! And when I emerge into the daylight it's not as if the library staff are actually rushed off their feet is it? Lounging around, gossiping, tormenting some of the regulars, eating doughnuts and generally setting a bad example. You'd think one of them could make the effort to provide the over-worked IT Dept with a refreshing beverage and a Derby scone from time to time. ..

Sounds like YOU need a declaration of independence, Februs. Either that or a declaration that a certain librarian is gonna get her bum blistered.
