Where do old comments go to die?

Perhaps my eyes are playing tricks on me? or is it my memory?

Not lot ago, the stats page showed that there were over 3,000 comments for the month of April. (I swear - truly it did!). A week or so ago, I noticed that April was showing an even 3,000 comments - a figure I'm sure I would have noted for being so very round (like a beautiful bottom, though perhaps one with three buttocks). Then today - I see that April has only 2,999 comments.

So what's happening with them? Inquiring minds want to know.

They go to Miami or southern California to die.

No no, you got it all wrong SNM, they come to Canada and if they go too far north they freeze their letters off and that is all there is too it. We often find various words around the country laying in the ice, its really too bad but what can one say.

My best guess would be that it is on a beach somewhere tropical drinking Pina Coladas and Mai Tais by the dozen! Of course it could be as simple as a duplicate comment or suchlike being spotted and one removed

I prefer the idea of the beach personally...

Those poor comments! Can nothing be done?

What he should have said is make sure some responsible person is keeping an eye on Her Pinkness! I have a specially adapted wide angle lense which allows me to see almost half of Pink's rear end at anyone time!! Mind you those tight pink trousers are so BRIGHT it is like staring at the sun!! Still someone has to keep an eye on her!
