We are not a fan of blimps up here either... costs a packet having all the door openings widened

Februs, I believe I have mentioned before about the pressing need for a complaints department!!! Impertinent minx!! I am living proof that a good balanced diet leads to a slender figure!!

A balanced diet?

Would that be a large of glass of single malt in each hand?

I'm surprised at the unkind references to Yorkshire tea. My two favourite brands of tea are Twinings gold/yellow pack or Yorkshire.
If I can't rely on semi-skimmed milk or am at work I like Earl Gray or Lady Gray without milk.
My bridge partner and I share a tea bag, there are only small tea-cups not my usual bucket-he dunks the tea bag in for a second and I then squeeze the rest out!
Each to his own gout.

My wife will not allow me to share a bag, she says if she ever caught me doing that kind of stuff I would be in serious trouble. I had to tell the bag she had to leave, and then she hit me because to the bag reference, I will never understand women!

Those who like Earl Grey reveal a great deal about how much their taste buds have been wrecked by the standard fare of their homeland.

The manufacturers of the blend take all the left over odds and ends from the days blendings - add sawdust and the like, I would not be at all surprised - and coat the resulting mishmash with bergamont to hide the taste of their concoction from all but the epicures amongst us.

People who like Earl Grey Tea tend to be the ones who say, straight faced, that Bud Light is a decent beer.

Well, it's sort of a beer-flavored beverage. In that it sort of tastes like beer.

We have people down here who insist that VB is worth drinking. Carlton Draught is passable, but used dish water is probably better for you than VB and has been aged longer.

Totally disagree:
The only Budweiser that has ever passed my lips is the original Budweiser Budvar; which isn't bad for a lager.
The only drink I'm prepared to call beer is real ale-my current favourite-Old Speckled Hen.

Yawn. Goodmorning. It's 7:30 ish am here on the left coast and all this 'tea war' stuff is interesting for those of us from Latte-Land. Very educational. Personally I'm quite content with my indie roasted Dark latin mix, hand ground to Turkish proportions, now inhabiting my cup. It's going well with my cantaloupe, as this is a work day; no sweets for breakfast. I couldn't help noticing a few shell splashes outside from the occasional harassing fire from across the Atlantic so thought I had better check it out. Don't worry. You havn't hit anything. Yet. But what I would really like to know is just what the heck is a Sainsbury? Is it one of those 'ruins of the week' you guys are peddling? Grin!
