Dwindling Comments

I have just noticed that the number of comments on my stories have dwindled from 450 to 447. How is this possible?
I recall comment 450 being posted on Sept. 16 if that is of any relevance.

There are no technical or administrative issues which would necessitate a couple of your comments being removed. Maybe some of the commenters have deleted their comments. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.
