Viewed more than 50 stories in one hour

A couple of days ago I committed the mortal sin of viewing more than 50 stories in one hour. (They were mostly multi-part stories.)

Since then I have been blocked from viewing any stories.

Any way to get back in?

The site has automatic mechanisms built in to try and protect it from being overloaded or from being accessed by bots. Looking at the system log I can see that you've previously viewed stories at a rate of almost 4 a minute which of course suggests that you're not actually reading them. Once someone does this a number of times the site will lock them out for a period of time. Anyway, I'm sure it will soon clear and absolution will be granted.
