At the time the site was shut down we examined a number of the site's aspects. One thing we found was that the 'favourites' feature was in many cases being completely misused with some people having literally thousands of favourites. Favouriting stories on the LSF is not intended to be the equivalent of the Facebook 'LIKE' feature but a means of having shortcuts to those stories one has a special liking for and which are likely to be read again and again by whoever favourited them. As such, 300 is in our opinion more than enough. |
