Unable to add story comment

Re Chelsea 1234's problem of no comment box at the end: that happened to me once too but I think Februs' explanation may be right because when I went back a bit later it was there.

Ok I went back to leave a comment and at first had the same problem. There was no scrolly thing at the side to scroll down. But when I went to the comment box directly from the index the scrolly thing was there and I was able to leave my comment. No idea why but it worked so that's fine. I used to have the comment box missing: it turned out I was using the wrong url for the site, which somehow messed up cookies. Make sure to use "www.spankinglibrary.co.cc".

So, you were getting the problem when you tried to comment from within the story viewer, is that correct? I've made a couple of minor changes anyway, can you try again with the same story and let me know if you are still having the same problem ? Thanks.

Hi blue, the easiest way to do it is click on the bit at the end of a story that says 'make or view story comment.' That will allow you to add a comment.

There is also a comment icon which can be found at the end of the line wherever the stories are listed and you can make comments from there too.

Was going to throw my toys out of the pram over this too, but have been able to comment from the story listing so no hassle.
