Narrations

Apologies if this is a known issue or this isn't where to report this.

But The Narrations seems not to be working.

On one or two stories the sound begins and then fades and on others there is no sound at all. I have tried earlier stories going back two years that used to work and have found same issue.

My sound is working on various other sites and has passed a sound test.

Thought I should give someone the heads up.

Addendum

The issue seems to only occur with Firefox Mozilla. MS Internet Explore is working fine.

What version of Firefox are you using? I'm using Firefox and the narrations are all working for me. For Firefox the narrations make use of HTML5 so a reasonably up to date version of the browser is probably needed.

I have checked on different versions

Firefox 25.00.1 (latest I think) sounds odd - like it is from the bottom of the sea in places - but works.

a slightly earlier version on another PC does not work at all.

I think the lesson is - if it doesn't work for some people - try and different browser or update it ;)

I hope I helped and haven't just reported a unique problem to me.
