If anyone knows without bugging Februs. I clicked my own story as favorite thinking I could see who liked it as a favorite. It's embarrassing, but that is a kink too. I did the same thing a couple of years ago. so now I 'like' two of my own stories, like an idiot.

Mati's absolutely correct. Tyrport - you can also click on the Help button. Favourites are explained, as well as a heap of other things.

I appreciate the tip. Just so you know you're not the only 'idiot', tyrport, I did the same thing. Thanks for bringing it up.

What about authors who select their own stories as favorites because they really ARE their favorites?

Well, I don't have to search through nearly 10,000 others to find my own stories and re-read them, so I don't have to mark them as favorites. That way, nobody else knows how conceited I am.

Good point. Maybe I should go un-favorite a few stories now.

I sometimes punch in a thank you to a reader for commenting on my story, and I don't click on their name, so it's posted as a comment and says Waiting For Validation. I'd like to see the Edit Delete put back on those once again so any of us who do that can delete our own mistaken Thaniks Comment....
