I'm sad to say that I have only story that fits with the day. It's called
The Plan
.
Do others have ones written around April 1st?

No, but it sounds like a great topic for the first writing contest of 2012.

April Fool stories sounds like fun, better late than never.

I have the idea for an April Fools spanking story (that involves a prank being played on both the protagonist, and the
reader
), but I've been too busy with other things to write it this year. Maybe next.

Last I knew, 2012 was
next
year. (Of course, your comment made me check my calendar just in case I got it wrong)

Oops - the year digits. Been so busy looking at the month and day that I forgot about the year.
In the words of Emily Litella:
"Oh, that's different. Never mind."

The problem I have with seasonal stories is that it takes me so long to write one story that by the time it's done the season it was written for is well and truly over.

Very true. So....if we are going to have a contest about the Fall, lets begin now and if we have a lot of stories, extend the reading time, unless you limit the words.
