500 Word & Winter Theme Picture Challenges now open

Approximately 116 "Whack! Whack! Whacks!" and an equal number of "Ow! Ow! Ows!" But how'd you know that would be my story?

I must say there are some great little stories so far! Disappointingly no Whack Whack Whacks yet.

Hmmm... perhaps I should have used my remaining word count to add some.

Very high standard of short stories. Read about 20 so far. I do love the short ones. Short, sharp shocks etc.

I entirely agree with swishswitch, the standard is extremely high.

I have read them all once and given them my initial ranking, but I am going to re-read them again because I feel I must re-rank them all over again now that I have some knowledge to base my comparison on if I am to do justice to their authors.

The standard achieved in this library never ceases to amaze me.

Just a note to thanks Febreezie for making it possible to vote after reading each story! It's nice to be able to do that instead of trying to remember which one was which and which ones I really liked.

Just to be clear:
We can vote up to 10 times for each story but do we have an upper limit on how many votes we can give out?

That is, could we vote 10 times for each and every story?

As I understand it, a reader can give up to ten votes to each story--if that's what you mean by "vote 10 times." I don't think there's any 'total votes' limit, except that it would obviously be limited to ten times the total number of entries.

Of course, pragmatically there would be no point to giving ten votes to each story--it would have the same effect as not voting at all... --C.K.

CK has it right, you can assign a score of between 0 and 10 to each of the stories. You can also change any of your votes right up to the time that voting closes.
