Question for our American members.

In my district the cutoff was the first day of school. When I started First Grade, you had to be 6 before the first day of school. My birthday is in November. School started in September then, so, I was nearly 7 when I started First Grade.

Okay, it seems that my "rule of thumb" isn't as universal as I thought it was.

So:
5 + grade number = age of student, sometimes +1 depending on when the cutoff date for the local school system.

Oh no, British spanking stories are basically just a sub genre. I especially love love stuff set in the Victorian era or the 60s, as those seem to have the most spanking potential. Between the accents and the weird obsession with corporal punishment the English have, a lot of Americans fetishize British people.

Yeah, I realized that when I was a kid and Star Wars came out. The evil ones tend to be British and exceptionally rigid ones as well.

Here it would be grade number + 5, 6 or 7, depending on if you're born during the spring or fall and the time of the year. When you begin 9th grade you're either 14 or 15, when you graduate from 9th, you're either 15 or 16.

As a person who enjoys being chastised, I love canes but I have trouble relating to the “stingy” UK application of them. When my wife canes me she whacks me many many times. Six of the best doesn’t really apply when you’re getting 100 strokes. Well I enjoy the set up of school cleanings, I always want a recipient to get five times as many welts as they get. I wouldn’t wish that on non-consensual caning recipients at all, but for a fantasy that’s what works for me.
