There are a lot of very prolific authors on this site. I think that occasionally authors who don't write as much might get overlooked. Anyone have any recommendations for authors who wrote only a few stories, but who you wish would write more?

Sure, except that these authors, that I know, are not visiting the LSF. Some have not visited in one or more years.

A few years ago, I started an "Obscure Author Recognition Project" to help identify just the sort of authors you're describing. I'll bump the forum thread. There should be some suggestions therein. Perhaps you or others could add to it.

Hand's down, the greatest "one hit wonder" in the library is Placid. Her/his story "Accepting the Unfair", with over 2000 views and 61 comments, sits near the top of the 'stats, yet it's that author's sole contribution to the library.

I would certainly like to see more stories from Placid.

hd1865 contributed "The Meyers Family - Part 1" five years ago after I saw it on a Yahoo site and encouraged him/her to submit it here. Despite 21 comments and 637 views (and it hasn't been commented in 3 years), no part 2 ever came about. hd1865 still visits and is a subscriber.

What about "MARCOCANE" who only wrote one story in a contest and never returned. Actually, he did return after a time but then dropped out of sight. He did mention to me that he was writing a series. That was a few years ago.

Shamefully, I probably qualify somewhat. I've written one story and it has just under 600 views and 50 comments.

Nothing to be ashamed of, Patron! You should be proud your unique story is so highly appreciated.

That is not so bad. I had a story on another forum, about six years ago that had over 19,000 readers and only 6 comments.
