Seeking aid while working on a new story

So do I - which is why I wanted to use it. I've read it in a couple of books and it seems to a step down (or two) from "boiling with rage".

I can just see someone going red in the face and almost frothing at the mouth when I read the phrase seething with rage/anger. It's such an evocative word.
