Wellred Weekly

Apparently the Wellred Weekly has fallen victim to the demands placed on the staff in putting out the anthologies. One suggestion would be that some of the already published Wellred Weeklies could be combined to make a Wellred Weekly Anthology. There is enough material for several volumes.

Also in the future when other Wellred Weeklies are being put together the staff would be doing two things at once, they would not only be making a new Wellred Weekly they would also be gathering material for a future Wellred Weekly Anthology.

We have a new edition (almost finished) of the Wellred in the bag & it should be released in a week or two

Although a reasonable assumption regarding the anthologies, the primary problem is finding and then persuading people to actually contribute something. In terms of time and effort that occupies by far the biggest portion and you can spend several days trying to find suitable contributors and then end up with nothing. For example, for the forthcoming issue we had 4 different people commit to write something and then all 4 have failed to deliver. Anyway, as flopsy says, we expect to have the next one out shortly.

You won't get that from me! I have a total aversion to commitment.

Anyway, it's good to hear that there's a new edition coming out soon. Kudos to the contributors who DID contribute (and deliver), and thanks to the staff for, once again showing why LSF is the greatest spanko site on the 'net.
