I guess that makes me sub-obscure

I suppose there are Dom-obscure authors as well

If an author complains about their obscure status, would that make them an obscure-rantist?

Only if they rant on and on about it. i shall try to maintain a dignified silence, noting that in the 2 months since this thread started the stats I quoted to justify my own obscurity have changed considerably, thus possibly elevating me to the sub-obscure bracket

As a good "sub" does that mean you get spanked more regularly now?

Well then OPB, would it be fair to say that you are one of the LSF's more prominent sub-obscure authors?

That may depend on how exciting he finds the story.

In that case, I would like to submit Tom as an obscure author. he has only 1 story, with 610 views, 11 comments and 9 favourites. In fact, his one story, Teacher's Punishment, should be a Story of the Day recommendation. it is very well written with relatively good attention to detail. The story was uploaded in 2007. I think that qualifies as "obscure."

Even though A Matedne was the first name on the Authors and it took me a total of 10 seconds to complete this challenge I'am glad I did it. A.Matedne writes rather well and in my Fav genre.

Thanks Rick

I'd nominate Placid as an obscure author. Although it's an unusual case: one story to his/her credit, with 52 favorites and 43 comments. In fact, with a story that ranks among the top 20 most commented stories, it's not really obvious that it counts as "obscure".

I only want to know: where are you now Placid, and what other storytelling gems can you share with us?
