We've just received emails from a couple of our regular users and although it seems way too stupid to be true it appears that the American ISP Cox Communications has blocked access to EVERY website that has the suffix '.co.cc' in its URL simply because a couple of them were sending fraudulent emails.
Of course websites with every suffix in existence, including .com and .net, will have sites engaging in fraudulent activity, so by their twisted logic they should go ahead and block access to the whole of the internet for their unfortunate customers. Anyway, we will contact Cox Communications to express our views on being blocked by them but if this is the way they operate I don't personally hold out much hope of being listened to. |
