Are you by any chance a technician?
At least you sound like one. Whenever one of our technicians is told to set up an account at the Kyocera webpage they all get their gender reassigned. Since they nearly always forget to select their gender they end up female since if you don't select male the server assigns female as value for gender. They then are shocked that they are called Mrs. in the welcome email. I call it failed IQ-test
Then I am assigned the task to call the manufacturer and turn the technician male again.
Its always good for a laugh
But I can assure you the technicians normally don't laugh. I am a different matter though. I love it
