Great stories for the most part and I was tickled by the fact that I correctly guessed a couple of the authors!

What a fantastic winning entry, one of the best-written stories I have ever read. And yet, although it was a deserving winner, I would hesitate to say the victory was clearcut because there were so many other wonderful stores in this Challenge. I am really looking forward to reading the 'back issues' of several 'new' authors I have just discovered.

I also enjoyed the winning story very much, but I gave 10s to several this time. These were, overall, a great group of stories. I guessed the authors of 9 stories, the highest so far, but was completely surprised by a few.

Congratulations to all the winner. I enjoyed all the stories, and especially loved the winning story. I really thought it is great, but I thought all the stories were winners! I did not guess any of the authors and was surprised by a few. GREAT CHALLENGE.

There were some fantastic stories in this challenge. I throw in my hat to the winners as well. Congrats to the 1,2,3, and the runners up. All who entered the challenge did a great job with each of their stories. Well done, authors. Well done.

Many thanks to all who've left such lovely comments. It's a real honour to discover that my story was so well received, and a delight to learn so many found that style of modern fairytale so enjoyable.
There are many untold stories in my cherished grimoire, I shall have to post a few more...

The winner was my favourite too - so well done mate! I do incline to fantasy and imagination! Such a high standard of writing from entrants overall ... so hard to rate, trying to compare chalk and cheese in theme and obsession!
