Thanks, everyone, for the warm welcome!

Goodgulf, the source of my name is nothing so interesting as that. Fiona from the character on Burn Notice. Blue because it sounded good with it and I liked the fact that it has lots of different meanings - the color (of course), feelings, nobility, and something that is naughty or racy.

Ah, well, you should read the Amber books (at least the first five) by Roger Zelazny. Not because they are on topic but because they are great books that everyone should read.

And when I say "first five books" I'm not talking about a huge stack. They were written back in the days of manual typewriters and pocket novels that would fit in your pocket. They clock in at 180 to 190 pages each - making the five of them smaller than some novels written today. The books are so are tightly written (not a wasted word) that both 5 book series have been collected into a single trade paperback sized volume called "The Great Book of Amber", which Amazon sells for about $15.

It's a great series.
