In my mind this possibly indicates that many people cherry pick a story depending on the title i.e. does it catch them in a way that makes them want to read it?

But the title is an important part of the story. All else being equal, the author who crafts a superior title deserves to do better in the contest. (If titles weren't important, we would just number our stories.)

Congrats to the winners once again. I found many of the stories very erotic and even comical in some ways.
