well feeding the keyboard too many crisps/chips is also rather detrimental to its health

Flopsy I know how you must be feeling. My 10 year old hand-me-down computer started to cark it over the Xmas holls and quickly got worse. Unfortunately mine didn't go out with a satisfying wizz and bang as yours did.. I feel so cheated in this knowledge!! Hope you get up and running again soon Flopsy.... It sure is frustrating not being able to get a daily LSF fix hehe. However I was lucky enough to get a new laptop last weekend so after a torturous long wait my troubles are at an end

Perhaps the works of those of us who have written extensively on the proper treatment of pcs may be consulted?

And since she lost two computers, add an "s" and use it creatively and it becomes 'slaptop'. It's all good.

My computer is so...old, I could sell it as an antique. I am serious. The only thing that I can still get is the LSF.

I have returned! When my older pc in the bedroom blew up with a very loud BANG, I fell backwards on the bed thinking I had been shot! There was a very strong smell of singed parts too (the pc's parts not mine)

I have suffered very severe LSF withdrawal symptoms that even copious amounts of chocolate and crisps could not assuage ... so it is lovely to be back.

Huge thanks to Pink for stepping in and keeping the bunny ears warm, and to Valerie for all the extra validations
