Head Librarian double computer death...

Just to inform library visitors that the Head Librarian's pc is currently dead which would have been less of a problem if her old pc had worked but when switched on it managed to boot up temporarily before a loud bang and a puff of smoke brought matters to a close. So, the nett result is that she is pc-less and will need to have her main pc sent off for repair. In the meantime her Pinkness will be donning the bunny ears as Acting Head Librarian which is fine so long as she keeps her snakes and spiders out of my I.T. room in the library basement. Normal service will be resumed... err... when flopsy's pc comes back. Thank you for listening.

Hm ... to lose one computer may be regarded as unfortunate; to lose both reeks of carelessness.

It's good to know the old computer went out with a bang rather than a whimper. May it rest in peace.

The magic smoke! Any electronics technician worth his/her salt will patiently and scientifically explain that you have carelessly allowed the magic smoke to escape.

Maybe the snakes and spiders are responsible for the breakdown. Did Flopsy try to step on a spider...or a snake. Such actions will bring retribution big time.

Hi, Februs. From technical point of view, did you try to detect donkey pancakes or donkey dinners being warmed up in both computers? I heard from a reliable source that it could be the origin of bangs and nasty smelling smoke...

Since when was anything 'normal' around here? Normal is dull, boring, commonplace, mediocre, average, and I WON'T HAVE IT. But I WILL have the bunny getting a working computer so this place functions in the extraordinary fashion to which we've all become accustomed.
