A round of applause to all our validaters who work so hard behind the scenes. I have just realised that Corncrake has topped 2,000 validations. Well done, thanks, and I raise my glass of virtual single malt to salute you!

And I haven't even READ one thousand stories! Still, I raise my glass of non-virtual single malt and congratulate Corncrake on this great (and hard to believe) achievement!

Well done Corncrake! I have enough trouble editing my own stories, I cannot imagine the patience and understanding it takes to do over 2000 stories written by writers at all levels of writing skills. Well done and thank you for the hard work.

I don't know what to say, Corncrake, but this is a remarkable achievement. I'm noticing more content than ever---has it really been 60-70 stories a day lately? I don't know how you do it. anyway, our grateful thanks for what you and the other validators do. I'd send you a case of scotch but I think it comes out of the tap up there, right?
