Please explain the difference between "save" and "store" as I have been using both indiscriminately recently

Save = your popup message is saved and will be kept until it is 3 months old (or whatever period of time we agree on) at which time it will be deleted (culled). Messages are 'saved' by default.

Store = your popup message will be retained indefinitely and not culled. These messages are accessed via clicking on the 'Storage' button in the Message archive viewer.

Pretty much the same, it's not the total number that's the problem though, it's the number that are stored as they won't get culled when they reach a certain age.

As a member who had over 10% of the total number of pop-ups in the database, I apologize. I can now report that I've culled out most of those, including 90% of the archived ones.

I have a question for Februs. For those members who don't want to overburden the Library with stored messages but still want to save them, is there an easy way for the member to save them to a file in the member's computer hard drive before they are deleted from the Library? That would be the best solution for everybody.

I have just about completed testing on a facility that will allow any/all of the popup messages to be saved as a text file, should be available for use any day now.

But...I have already eliminated many of my stored messages. I could have stored then on my harddrive. I have referred to them in the past.

I haven't asked anyone to delete any of their stored messages, merely to "unstore" them so that they will then be subject to culling once they reach a certain age.

Deleted messages aren't, initially at least, actually deleted, so if you want your messages to be 'un-deleted' you'll have to let me know.

Please "un-delete" my messages that were stored. I will unstore them.
