To repeat, the administration should really take time off. One problem, when they come back, there might be 300 stories to load and validate. That would really be fun. Then, they would have to take more time off.

Coming soon .. to a spanking library near you .. errr ... ME! I did notice, however, that there seems to have been some mischievous mis-reporting of what actually befell me. Contrary to malicious rumours I did not poke myself in the eye but was just a few feet from reaching the summit of Ben Nevis when I was suddenly attacked by an eagle (apparently in a foul temper at having been airbrushed out of a story challenge photo). I managed to see off the wing-ed assailant after a titanic struggle but in the process the cornea of my left eye got injured by its claws. Anyway, my vision is starting to get less blurry now so hopefully I shall be returning to the library basement for business as usual in the not too distant future. Looking at the empty crisp packets and bottles of cheap sherry that were strewn all over the place it's not a moment too soon!
