Hi, there's a story I ready probably 10 years ago at least about a young girl who was really smart, but willful and kind of did what she wanted. Her mom was a teacher but the story is the relationship between her and her new math teacher I think. He holds her to super high standards and spanks her with a ruler for any wrong math problems and all kinds of other reasons. One scene I remember is when he took her home instead of hugging her goodbye he gave her a swat and said it would last longer. I can't seem to find it anywhere. Any ideas? |
