Two storybooks I read in 1972 that were set in an English co-ed boarding school

I got hooked from two storybooks I found in a secondhand bookstore in 1972 that were set in an English co-ed boarding school, but have not seen them since.

There was discipline for the 16 and 17yo boys and girls from class masters, year masters, principals, and also from prefects.

I think each chapter ended with a black and white line drawing.

They were paperback but larger than the usual small paperback size, maybe double that area in size.

I think the covers were slightly glossy, with a drawing and a black heading with some red.

The spankings were quite strict.

Can anyone recall the name of these books and if they are still available?

I remember a larger-than-usual sized paperback in those days called English Love School. It probably was originally published under another name. All I recall of the contents is that a lot of school punishment--spanking and caning--occurred.

There's a copy of 'English Love School' on Ebay - the postage from America is too steep for me, though!

Did it have black and white sketch at the end of each chapter?

Also there were two of these books, or at least two, so they were a series.
