looking for a story

I need your help: I'm searching for a story "The Cane Ratings" I think it was written by James Stephenson"
I'd really appreciate it if anyone could help me in tracking it down.

Yes, thanks. I've been all over the web searching. I can't help but think it was posted to Soc Sexuality Spanking but the search facility on Google Groups leaves much to be desired.

Try "Contact us" under the Info menu.

You could try web.archive.org

It's a site that's been archiving webpages since the 90s. They don't archive database content, large images, videos, etc, but they can usually grab text as long as it's not pulled from a database (aka a forum, or something that requires a login). A lot of old story sites that no longer exist can be re-visited using it.

Did you try sending him a popup message?
