Thoroughly worthy winners and runners-up all.
Beth has long been a brightly twinkling star in this fundament . I am so pleased.
Rollin should just bring a pillow and bed down in the Winners' Enclosure (well done, again!), and as for
Flopsy - at last!! I think we all celebrate with you, your Headiness!

Congratulations to Beth and the other winners, all of which were deserving. Among these, I especially liked Attitude Adjuster (obvious why it won - special kudos to Beth), Snowbound (flowerchild), and The Major (barretthunter). There were also some great stories among the non-winners that I feel deserve plugs -

The Girl with the Sting in Her Hair, by Tomas

Not in Her Wildest Dreams, by Jools

The Christmas Present, by Dave Caldewell,

and, my absolute favorite in the contest (besides my own entry, of course)

A Little Bit of America, by J Wackford Colton

I had never read anything by JWC before, but will now be checking him out.

Congrats to all the winners, all of which were fantastic stories! I read all of the stories entered and I thought they were all of an extremely high standard and I enjoyed reading each and every one. Thank you so much njrick for your kind plug of my entry and many thanks to all the people who left very kind and encouraging comments on my story. It was the very first piece of creative writing which I have done since High School (many many moons ago), so the kind words were much appreciated!

Other contest stories which I think deserve a plug are:

The Bonnie, Bonnie Banks O' Loch Lomond, by Lori
North To Alaska, by Kephren
The Eagle Flies Again, by Tiptopper
Much Ado About Spanking, by TheEnglishMaster
Expiation, by Crimson Kid
and ...J's Red Bottom, by Rick Marlowe

Thanks, all entrants, for some really great stories.
What am I going to do now, I wonder, having read them all?
Ah yes - hope that I am lucky enough to get some to validate!
